The meeting was called to order at 7:05.
Different members came up and spoke about drill team, team tournament, horse judging and hippology.
Rita Beaty read a thank you card from the nursing home.
Jen S. had forms for Horse Camp!
Wreath fundraiser profit was $1,018.
Still looking for members/parents to sign up for speed show and work day subcommittees.

Parliamentary procedure of how to make a proper motion and second were discussed.
Members voted on holding a tack sale for the public instead of holding one before the April meeting. Proceeds will go towards the fall banquet, the motion was voted on and passed.
Another motion was made and passed to have a gift card collection for Mike Roebuck’s grandchild, please bring giftcard to Feb. meeting.
If you love writing and technology (and are in grade 9th-12th grade), then this new position might be a perfect fit! The club is looking for a News Reporter, please see the website to fill out the application by Feb. 14th.
In March the club will have a Fashion Show during our meeting to show what type of clothing to wear for classes during fair, there was a sign up!
Our first and second year members buddied up with a 9th-12th grader.
Seniors leaders reminded everyone state dues were due Jan. 15th and if they aren’t paid by our Feb. meeting you won’t be allowed to attend the meeting.
They also went over the fair requirements and project completions.
Members were given their new book if both state and club dues were paid.
Marcy went over choices for different awards for fair classes and club voted on them.
Meeting was adjourned around 8:30.
